Illinois Masonic Secretaries Association meets
immediately after our Discussion Group meetings

Next year, the Illinois Masonic Secretaries Association will begin its 90th year of service to the lodges and brethren of Illinois. Regular meetings of this organization are held immediately after the bi-monthly meetings of the Masonic Fellowship Discussion Groups. All lodge Secretaries are cordially invited to attend, but any member of the fraternity is welcome to attend.

Although the matters discussed at these meetings are of particular interest and value to the Secretaries, they can be of great help to officers, prospective officers and members of our lodges who want a better insight into how our lodges operate. This group regularly sponsors a breakfast on Saturday morning at each session of the Grand Lodge's Annual Meeting and also presents a "Secretary of the Year" award for achievement each year.

The Masonic Secretaries Association is a co-administrator (with the Illinois Lodge of Research) of the Andrew Torok Foundation. The purpose of this Foundation is to fund and sponsor Masonic educational activities and publications. It was established with a bequest from the late Bro. Andrew Torok who was a long-time Secretary of the the Masonic Secretaries Association. Reports of the activities of the foundation are presented at each meeting of the Secretaries Association.
